Inspired by the amulets Rajasthan's nomadic communities have worn for generations, this long necklace centres on an antique-finish tabeez (cylindrical amulet box) perched with a pair of hand-carved birds, and finished below with a large butterfly pendant whose wings are etched with fine coiled motifs drawn from temple jewellery. Colour-accented stones sit at the heart of the tabeez, while four pearl drops sway beneath the butterfly for a soft, kinetic finish. The chain builds row after row from tiny hand-stamped florets strung between beaded ball-chain links, giving the whole piece the layered, statement-length silhouette Rajasthani jewellers are known for.

Every element — the tabeez, the birds, the butterfly, and each floret on the chain — is cast and finished by hand, then oxidised to bring out the depth of the engraving, so no two pieces are ever perfectly identical. This is a necklace built to be the focal point of an outfit: wear it over a plain kurta or a solid-colour blouse and let the piece do the talking, or layer it over a printed dupatta for a more textured, bohemian look. Size & Fit

Long-length statement necklace; approx. 15 inches from top to bottom, end to end (length may vary slightly, as each piece is hand-assembled).

Adjustable S-hook clasp at the back for a comfortable fit. Lightweight for its size; sits best over a plain or high neckline.

Material & Care

Crafted in a dual-tone metal alloy — an oxidised silver-tone base with hand-finished gold-tone detailing — set with faceted glass/stone accents. Handmade in Rajasthan, India, so minor variations in engraving, stone placement, and finish are natural marks of handcraft, not defects.

Care: Keep away from water, perfume, sweat, and direct sunlight. Store in an airtight pouch or box, ideally separated from other jewellery to prevent scratching. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear. Do not use commercial silver polish, chlorine, or ultrasonic cleaners — these strip the oxidised finish and dull the gold-tone highlights. Put jewellery on after applying perfume or makeup, and remove before bathing, swimming, or exercising.
